The Adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On the state service" will help to separate the political activity from the activity if the state officers, reduce the impact of the current political situation on the personnel decisions in the state bodies, increase the prestige of the state service.
The First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared it, commenting the adoption of the bill "On state service" suggested by the People´s Deputy V. Yanukovych as a basis.
"This step is very important as far as there always has been the temptation on the part of the each Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers to decide personnel issues without the regulation of the state service stability", - stated O. Lavrynovych.
As it was declared by the First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to this decision the Parliament "was going for ten years from the moment when the target of the state service of Ukraine modernization was set upon".
O. Lavrynovych reminded that in "year 2005 one of the leaders of the country was proud of the fact, that approximately 30 state officers was changed during half a year".
He reminded that the bill on the state service was suggested last year by the government of V. Yanukovych. "Unfortunately, in year 2007 unexpected developments took place and the bill was recalled from the Parliament by the new government", - he stated.
